The Arizona Mission Center ministry includes three teams: Adult Ministries, Young Adult Ministries, and Youth Ministries, with tabs for each across the top of the page.

Mike's Meanderings: Summer Travel

I was reminded today that we are still in summer. Of course the heat alone is enough to remind me—but so is news that family members are vacationing. One of my brothers made the obligatory call to let me know he, his wife, the children (including a daughter-in-law and a new granddaughter) have just arrived in Florida for several days. Thursday, Nancy leaves for San Diego to spend the weekend with our oldest daughter who is there with her husband who’s attending Comic-Con International, the largest comic book and popular arts convention in the world (according to their advertising). A group of our senior high youth with Barnaby Fletcher and Pam Dotson will be leaving this week for Spectacular and I will be attending Junior High Camp at Whispering Pines which starts Saturday. It seems that summer travel is in full swing! May God bless you whether you stay right where you are or wherever you meander this summer.

Plan Ahead: Women's Retreat, September 17-19, a "Story Telling Retreat"

Mission Center Council to Meet September 11

The next regularly scheduled Mission Center Council meeting will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 11 at Phoenix Central. This meeting will include a look forward at the 2011 budget and process. Pastors and CFOs are encouraged to attend or send representatives. The meeting will include a light lunch. Watch for further details.
